PARC NATIONAL DU MONT-TREMBLANT

Mont-Tremblant National Park (La Diable sector, in the Laurentians) is located 1 hour 45 minutes from Montreal and 25 minutes from the Tremblant resort.
Created on January 12, 1895, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2020. This huge territory has an international stature being the 1st park created in Quebec, the 3rd in Canada and the 6th in North America. It is therefore part of the world history of protected areas alongside the parks of Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequoia, Banff and Yoho.

Since August 30th, 2023, Mont-Tremblant National Park, the oldest of Quebec's national parks, has become the first international dark sky park in Quebec and the third in Canada! This certification awarded by DarkSky International, a prestigious organization, thus recognizes the park's commitment to protecting its exceptional nocturnal environment.

With its six major rivers, its 400 lakes and streams, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is one of the must-see in the province and region, a true paradise for nature lovers!

The wild beauty of the Laurentian forest, a country of lakes, mountains and rivers where wildlife lives freely: this is Mont-Tremblant National Park, the oldest protected territory in Quebec.
