Théâtre Gilles-Vigneault
Bearing the name of one of the greatest ambassadors of song in the Francophone world, the new infrastructure is the premier venue in the region thanks to its superior quality and its status as the largest performance hall in the Laurentians. The theater is also an important symbol of revitalization and an exceptional cultural gathering place. The Théâtre, located near the Place de la Gare in Saint-Jérôme, features 860 seats, a mezzanine and one balcony, using innovative energy-saving strategies in a unique concept.
Owner and manager of Théâtre Gilles-Vigneault, Diffusion En Scène is a leading producer of professional shows. Firmly rooted in Saint-Jérôme for 29 years, Diffusion En Scène participates actively in the cultural development of its environment. The organization's primary mission is to promote and develop the performing arts in the greater territory of the Rivière-du-Nord. In this spirit, Diffusion En Scène offers an annual program of shows covering all disciplines of the performing arts. Diffusion En Scène aims to promote and develop the performing arts throughout the greater Saint-Jérôme region and beyond. Each year, the organization offers more than 200 shows that showcase both top-tier artists and emerging artists from all disciplines within the performing arts. Diffusion En Scène wants to cultivate its audiences and become the place of choice for audacious artistic offerings.
