Founded in 1787, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines is proud of its multiple historical buildings: the church (1902), the presbytery (1887), the convent (1883), in addition to the house, barn and stables of the Chaumont priests (1884). The community’s dynamism allows many major activities to take place: exhibitions, theme fairs and sports competitions. This town received a rating of 4 Fleurons from the Fleurons du Québec horticultural beautification program for municipalities.
