Ville de Saint-Colomban

A city of over 16,000 inhabitants, Saint-Colomban was founded around the 1820s by Irish settlers. Since 2010, the municipality has obtained its city status. It is located 50 minutes north of Montréal, near highways 50 and 15 as well as near roads 158 and 117. As part of the Rivière-du-Nord MRC, the city covers an area of 95 km2. Saint-Colomban is surrounded by nature, with serveral lakes and 3 rivers, wide open spaces and a huge forest, which occupies more than 85% of its territory.
