Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles

The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles now offers the opportunity to discover the river in 3 concrete ways from a single site thanks to its new Exploration Center. First, by learning; by a visit to the museum space presenting the exhibition, "Believe it or not!" highlighting the history of the river, its vast ecosystem, and its environmental issues.

While observing; by a visit of the ecology laboratory where several living species are represented and which makes it possible to understand the interventions in the natural environment carried out by the park's team.

Finally, experimenting; by traveling the islands of the archipelago by kayak, canoe, paddleboard, pedal boat, boat, rabaska, and also aboard the Blue Heron cruiser.

In the winter season, the experience of the river can be done by foot, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or by participating in an ice fishing activity in our village equipped with traditional or new generation cabins.
