A Québec heritage-classified country inn, in the heart of the Laurentians and historic Nominingue. Built in 1899 to house missionary nuns arriving from France to help the first settlers coming to the area, it then harboured a presbytery, a school and the mother house of the Congregation of Sainte-Croix for the "Province du Nord" region. Le Provincialat has been a B&B since 1988. In October 2003, the new owners Diane and Guy renamed the inn Le Provincialart .
