The Laurentians have more to offer than a past rich in history and vast open spaces; the region is also favored by its distinctive culinary identity which charms tourists, excursionists and epicureans. Producers and chefs alike celebrate the diversity and exceptional quality of local Laurentian products and strengthen the long-acquired reputation of the region as a gastronomic destination. The locally-crafted alcoholic beverages also contribute to the region’s gourmet notoriety and stimulate visitors’ enthusiasm to discover the different tastes of the Laurentians.
The Table de concertation agroalimentaire des Laurentides is proud to promote, in partnership with Tourisme Laurentides, local terroir products and to highlight the work of dedicated artisans.
The area overflows with gourmet discoveries and, to boot, visitors can interact directly with the people who produce, process and prepare our local flavors. Over the past few years, the agritourism industry has experienced an impressive expansion with the creation of new on-farm processed products. In addition, numerous gourmet boutiques, farm stands, bistros and small cafés now welcome visitors throughout the year.
