SITE PATRIMONIAL DU CALVAIRE-D’HUBERDEAU
Located on the banks of the Rivière Rouge, Huberdeau is notable for its Calvaire.
From its summit, you'll have a fantastic view of the village and the Rouge Valley. If you go near the Christ cross, you'll be captivated by the Laurentian landscape, against which the majestic Mont-Tremblant looms. Huberdeau's first calvary, built in 1892, was made of wood. Between 1910 and 1920, the current version was made of bronzed cast-iron. Each of the calvary's 28 figures measures over two metres and weighs around 315 kg. Every year, on the 1st Sunday of August, there is a major gathering with the Stations of the Cross and mass, known as the Calvary Festival.
