Le P'tit Train du Nord ➤ 234 km

The longest linear park in Canada is located right in the heart of the Laurentian region. Following the line of the old railway built in the early 20th century, Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park offers 234 kilometres of trails running through incredibly beautiful landscapes, alongside rivers and lakes.

From Bois-des-Filion to Mont-Laurier, discover the Laurentians in its natural state, passing through some of its magnificent villages, forestscapes and mountain scenery. There are fun activities in every season, each offering its own particular delights: bicycling and in-line skating much of the year, and cross-country skiing, ski-skating or snowmobiling when nature puts on its cloak of winter white.

The trail has been attracting visitors from all over the world since 1996, and remains accessible to everyone thanks to its relatively easy gradients and multiple services. The stations, with their old-fashioned architecture, house services varying from cafés and bistros to heated refuges or boutiques, from which visitors can hire equipment or seek help with repairs. The trail is also dotted here and there with picnic tables, particularly in the more picturesque spots, so you can experience this natural adventure at your own pace.

A wide range of accommodation is available all along the trail, so you can relax, discover the local culture, or enjoy a variety of other outdoor activities. Tourisme Laurentides offer a planning service for your next adventure outing, for which there is no charge.

Various unique packages are available, including the popular bicycle and baggage transportation services.

Come and experience something of the dream of that great pioneer and visionary, Curé Labelle, and see how it all looks today!
