Fall

Summer’s effervescence slowly gives way to the gentler tones of fall.

Fall paints itself in a vast tableau of amazing colour. There’s that smell of old leaves in the maple groves. It’s North America’s greatest natural show, the pure mountain air invites us outside and suddenly Indian summer brings back a last reminder of the hot season just past. A magical universe unfolds. The days are shorter, just right for quiet ramblings along a hiking trail or perhaps a romantic fall getaway. What a time for enjoying a gastronomic meal, cocooning in a spa or spending a delightful evening beside the hearth. It’s also harvest time, as Thanksgiving approaches, just right for picking fruit which has ripened under the hot summer sun.

The grape harvest is on, markets are overflowing, it’s a great time for your taste buds! A scenic flight over the region will show you the wide-open spaces and majestic waterways; so many imperishable memories to back home.
