What to do from January 14 to 16, 2022 in the Laurentians?
13 January 2022
The Laurentian region has received a beautiful blanket of white snow, making it possible to enjoy a wide range of winter activities! Head for the mountain tops, the snow-covered forests, the hiking trails and rediscover your inner child! Check out the packages we've put together for you, and plan your getaway at one of the region's B&B’s, inns, hotels, resorts or outfitters. Here are our suggestions for the perfect weekend getaway:
Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the forest!
Cross-country ski or snowshoe your way through the parks' groomed trails and admire the snow-covered forests. To get started, enroll your children in one of the Laurentian cross-country ski schools. The activity and the loan of equipment are free at Oka National Park and at parc national du Mont-Tremblant for children under 18.

Enjoy a day of tubing with the whole family
Put on your warmest clothes and come slide with your family for a fun-filled day!
Les Glissades des Pays d'en Haut in Piedmont offer a multitude of sliding options: rafting, tornado, Bobsleigh or Vortex360 for even more thrills! Come and enjoy the tubing at Sommet Saint-Sauveur - Avila side just a few steps from the ski slopes. Get together to enjoy the many slides and a moment around a huge fieldstone fireplace in a comforting atmosphere. Please note that both sites are also open in the evening.

Family fun on the slopes
Come and ski in the magnificent Laurentian mountains! Several packages are available to suit your age, level and tastes. Come and meet our qualified ski instructors for an introduction to the sport or to learn advanced techniques. Some ski resorts have a snow park where even the youngest skiers can challenge the curves, jumps and speed. It's a great way to introduce your children to the beauty of winter, and get together as a family!

Explore winter on a fatbike!
With your older children, try winter biking to discover the pleasures of winter from another angle. Make your reservations in advance at Oka National Park to take advantage of nature trails, or at Espresso Sports in Sainte-Adèle, near the P'tit Train du Nord. For a guided fatbike or e-fatbike tour, book with D-Tour in Mont-Tremblant. And finally, in the same area, rent your bike at Expérience SK. No experience required, and guaranteed fun!
