Secteur Vieux-Tremblant, Centre de villégiature

In the heart of the number one resort in the east part of North America, Old-Tremblant is the privileged witness to the golden years of Mont-Tremblant Lodge. Built at the end of the 30s by the eccentric American millionaire Joseph Bondurant Ryan, these buildings were directly inspired by the Québec architecture of Île d'Orléans, giving a particular French provincial flavor to Old-Tremblant. The Chapel Saint-Bernard, an exact copy of Saint-Laurent church built on Île d'Orléans in 1678, is also part of the complex.
Its construction was completed in 1942 and was classified as a heritage building in 1988.
