Marchons notre histoire

In company with Marguerite Godard, the colorful schoolteacher who was also daughter to the first doctor to practice at Rapide-de-l'Orignal in 1901, stroll through today’s Mont-Laurier and discover its historic past. From the Théâtre Laurier to the Maison Alix-Bail, Mademoiselle Godard will recount local history by means of anecdotes, historic facts, odd happenings from folklore and legend, all of which will take you on a marvelous journey though time.

Length: 1 hour. The tour starts at the hall of the Maison de la Culture de Mont-Laurier, at 385 rue du Pont.  Cost is $5 for adults, free for children 13 and under.

Open: from June 30 to August 15, Wednesday to Sunday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Access to la Route du Lièvre Rouge.
