16 murals inspired by the tales and legends of the Pays-d’en-Haut. The CLD des Pays-d’en-Haut, a local economic development organization, in collaboration with the Mural Committee, has created a new tourism circuit that integrates new technologies. This means that anyone using a smartphone can tour the area independently. The circuit includes murals scattered around the downtown core in the village of Sainte-Adèle.
Using QR codes (two-dimensional barcodes) located on the information panels next to each mural, visitors can enjoy privileged access to exclusive information: videos created by the artists, photos from the past, the creative process involved with each mural and audio descriptions relating certain historic facts linked to the works.
